With your continued support we will be able to continue to make a difference. We are in the process of having the web page updated! It has been difficult getting the tech support needed to do this on a consistent basis! But I think we may have that resolved now. With both donor funds established, it is very easy to donate to either school to support the scholarship! Select the donate tab and choose the school you would like to support. We are in the process of selecting the 2021 scholarship winners. They will be announced in  May at the respective schools! 

​

Joanne and I are excited to announce that we have opened a fund at the Cleveland Foundation  that will now allow electronic donation’s to the Coach Steven Edwards Scholarship for  Cleveland Heights High School. Now both schools have a way to take electronic donations  eliminating the need to write checks.

Dear Donors, former athletes, parents, family, and friends. I am writing to update you on our progress with the Coach Steven Edwards Scholarship. We hope you and your family are safe and healthy in this  Covid-19 environment.  

In spite of challenges in 2020, we were able to:  

• Establish and award (4) $2500 scholarships at Cleveland Heights  (CHHS) and Waubonsie Valley (WVHS) high schools.  - Create our web page. coachstevenedwards.com  

• Establish a scholarship committee  

• Set up electronic donations for WVHS on the web site.  

• Thank you so much for your support in getting the scholarship off the ground and to a successful start. Now begins the hard work of sustaining and growing the scholarship to be as impactful as possible for  2021 and future years!  

 

In the coming years, I envision that we will grow the scholarship to a four-year award that would support our recipients with at least $2500  each year. Every donation, no matter the size will make a difference in helping students achieve their goal of graduating from college.  

Joanne and I have committed to cover all administrative costs and match donations up to $5000 for each school. Remember all donations are tax-deductible.
